This is the Fourth film Hyde Park Academy made with the partnership of south side fyi in 2013. This Short Film is about After the death of his foster mother, an outsider at odds with his foster father learns that sometimes family is more than blood and acceptance comes in unexpected ways. SINCE 2005, SOUTH SIDE FILMMAKING YOUTH INITIATIVE HAS MENTORED CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE SCRIPT-TO-SCREEN PROCESS OF PRODUCING A SHORT FILM THAT THEY WRITE, DIRECT AND EDIT THEMSELVES.
