This is the fifth film Hyde Park Academy made with the partnership of south side fyi in 2014. This Short Film is about A high school football player discovers his team captain is gay and must confront his own fears and past in order to move forward. SINCE 2005, SOUTH SIDE FILMMAKING YOUTH INITIATIVE HAS MENTORED CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE SCRIPT-TO-SCREEN PROCESS OF PRODUCING A SHORT FILM THAT THEY WRITE, DIRECT AND EDIT THEMSELVES.
